The international team competition in women's tennis launched as the Federation Cup in 1963 was changed to the Fed Cup in 1995, and again in September 2020 in honor of legendary tennis star and former World No. 1 Billie Jean King.
Sporting stadiums and halls around Poland remain under strict restrictions due to the Coronavirus Pandemic as Government social distancing laws prohibit fans inside venues resulting in games being played behind closed doors.
